2024 Holiday Gold Star Family Reception

Yesterday, members of the 101st Army Band performed holiday music for a Gold Star family reception hosted by Governor Jared Polis and The Adjutant General of Colorado, U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Laura Clellan at the governor's residence. Gold Star families are families of service members who died while serving our nation.

This holiday season, the 101st Army Band would like to wish all Gold Star families a merry Christmas and happy holidays, and especially the family of Major Chad David Wriglesworth. We hope you are able to find comfort and joy over the holidays.

SSG Tom Seidl's Retirement

Last month we celebrated Staff Sergeant Tom Seidl's retirement after over 20 years of service with the United States Army. Tom has played tuba and sousaphone with the 101st Army Band since 2010. He also served with the 132nd Army Band in the Wisconsin Army National Guard. We will miss Tom's youthful energy, willingness to talk to anyone, and, of course, the mustache.
