The 101st Army Band performed for over 140,000 Colorado residents on our 2017 summer tour! We had exciting crowds for every concert, and we want to thank organizers, promoters, and sponsors who made this tour possible, as well as the wonderful citizens and veterans of our great state for making the band's 80th Anniversary tour one of the best we've ever seen! We would also like to thank our leadership at the Colorado National Guard for their continued support for our mission as musical ambassadors, bridging the gap between citizens and the Citizen Soldiers who serve them.
The band began the tour with an amazing concert featuring the return of many retired and former members of the band at the Lone Tree Arts Center, followed by appearances at the Lincoln Center in Fort Collins, The Tabor Opera House in Leadville, Estes Park, and a return to the Independence Eve Fireworks in downtown Denver. The Winds, Rock, Dixieland, and Country bands were featured at performances in Greeley, Boulder, Colorado Springs, Limon, Walsenburg, Fort Morgan, Peyton, and Longmont.
The 101st Army Band is a proud unit of the Colorado National Guard, Always Ready, Always There!
